Digital Literacy & Financial Inclusion
Equipping marginalized communities across India with the digital skills, financial knowledge, and cybersecurity awareness needed to thrive in a connected world.
Bridging the Digital Divide
Digital literacy is essential in today's technology-driven world — enabling individuals to access information, communicate effectively, and use digital tools for everyday tasks.
It empowers people to participate in the digital economy, enhances access to services, and is especially important for bridging social and economic gaps. Without digital skills, millions remain excluded from education, financial services, healthcare, and government schemes.
Recognizing its critical importance, the Ubantu Foundation actively promotes digital literacy through dedicated training programs across Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, and Goa — helping individuals from marginalized communities become familiar with smartphones, digital platforms, and basic internet use.
"Digital access is not a luxury — it is the gateway through which underprivileged communities claim their rights, livelihoods, and futures."
Passport to Earning (P2E) — UNICEF
A landmark collaboration that delivered globally recognised digital and financial skills training to youth and women across four states.
Skills Root & UNICEF Partnership
In June 2025, Ubantu Foundation collaborated with Skills Root to provide online training under UNICEF's Passport to Earning (P2E) programme — a free, digital learning platform designed to equip young people, particularly women and girls, with 21st-century skills for the future of work.
P2E focuses on financial literacy, digital skills, and employability training, enabling participants to access further education, employment, or entrepreneurship opportunities. The programme targets youth and women between the ages of 18 and 30.
Over 150 trainees from selected districts of Delhi, Haryana, Madhya Pradesh, and Rajasthan completed the course and received official UNICEF certificates by July 2025 — a tangible credential recognised by employers and institutions.

Cybersecurity & Digital Safety
As digital access grows, so do the risks. Ubantu Foundation is building digital resilience by equipping first-time users with the knowledge to navigate the internet safely.
Many people fall victim to scam calls, fraudulent links, and online hackers, often due to a lack of awareness about safe digital practices. These cyber threats can lead to financial loss, identity theft, and misuse of personal information — making cybersecurity awareness more essential than ever.
To address this, the Ubantu Foundation conducts dedicated cybersecurity awareness sessions aimed at educating individuals — especially first-time digital users — on how to recognise and avoid common online threats, protect personal data, and respond to digital threats safely.
