Our story

From one village enterprise to five states

Registered in October 2018 as a Section 8 non-profit, Ubantu grew out of years of grassroots work — beginning with a women’s enterprise making biodegradable sanitary pads in a Goa village.

Today we combine social entrepreneurship with community capacity-building, aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals — rooted in the African philosophy of Ubuntu: I am because we are.
