The Ubantu Happiness Centre in Ghiwahi village opened to promote social inclusion and build scalable, community-led livelihood models, inaugurated in the presence of Dr Sudhir Mahajan, IAS (Retd.), Chairperson of Ubantu Foundation.

Bio-enzyme and candle making with NDDB Dairy Services

CCBF, Andesh Nagar, Lakhimpur district, Uttar Pradesh · 12–14 May

A three-day training programme run with NDDB Dairy Services for around 50 women members of Shreeji FPO, inaugurated in the presence of Dr G. P. Singh, former Director of NDDB, and Shri Shwet Awasthi, General Manager of NDS.

Advance candle making training, Uttarakhand

Jyolikot, Block Bhimtal, district Nainital · November 2025

Run with REAP Nainital and a local Cluster Level Federation. Participants learned candle bases and moulds on the first day, then decoration, bouquets, packaging and branding on the second.

A four-day programme led by Ubantu master trainers Shri Sunil Bala and Ms Anu, covering candle making, flower bouquets, packaging, labelling and marketing. Certificates were presented at the closing ceremony by the Gram Pradhan, Smt. Kalavati.
