What our interns have actually built
TAPMI 2025 · Goa Institute of Management 2024This is not aspirational. In 2025, six interns from T. A. Pai Management Institute (TAPMI) worked with the Foundation to give self-help groups and women entrepreneurs the marketing tools they had no way of producing themselves — Google My Business profiles, social media accounts, digital visiting cards and product catalogues.
The same students helped families access welfare schemes by preparing the documents that unlock them: Aadhaar, ABHA, e-Shram, Ayushman and Voter ID cards.
In 2024, interns from the Goa Institute of Management researched CSR funding trends in India for skill development and livelihoods — work that shaped how the Foundation approaches CSR partners today.
A self-help group making soap or stitched bags is often invisible to anyone more than a village away. A Google Business profile is the cheapest thing that changes that — and a student can build one in an afternoon.

What you would be doing
Responsibilities and learningParticipate in field visits to project locations. Observe and support livelihood initiatives. Assist in data collection and programme monitoring. Contribute to the development of project resources. Learn directly from experienced field staff.
Minimum duration: 6–8 weeks. A significant share of that time is spent in the field, interacting directly with cooperative members, women’s groups and rural communities.

Students, graduates and young professionalsThe Foundation invites students, fresh graduates and young professionals who are interested in social impact and willing to learn by doing.
Providing internship opportunities in governance and livelihoods is one of the Foundation’s stated objectives, and it has formal collaborations with educational institutions including TAPMI, the Goa Institute of Management, IIT (BHU) Varanasi, Delhi Technological University and Manipal Academy.
