Ubantu Foundation

Advocacy & Good Governance

Influencing policy, strengthening local self-governance, and empowering communities to shape the decisions that affect their lives.

What We Do

Policy Advocacy & Social Justice

Policy advocacy in social work involves influencing decision-makers to create, change, or implement laws and policies that advance social justice, equity, and the well-being of marginalized populations. Good governance initiatives involve strengthening local self-governance to encourage participatory planning and decision-making, ensuring local needs are met.

The Ubantu Foundation also encourages civic engagement β€” particularly from beneficiaries β€” to actively shape social policies and hold systems accountable to the communities they serve.
